COVID-19 Response Efforts

Volunteer-dependent organizations in Erie County are running low on volunteers. That’s why ServErie has partnered with Erie County Government and United Way to connect interested individuals with available volunteer opportunities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic through the PA 211 Helpline website PA211NW.org.

Healthy individuals interested in volunteering can now visit PA211NW.org to complete a brief questionnaire. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers kindly ask that high-risk volunteers stay home to reduce the spread of disease and protect their own health as well as the health of our community.

We will be using collected information to make the appropriate matches. In addition, the Erie County Department of Health will work to provide guidance regarding appropriate safety protocols.

Agencies in need of volunteers are also encouraged to visit PA211NW.org to submit their information. We will then connect you with the appropriate resources.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper’s Stay-at-Home order does not apply to volunteers working for life-sustaining businesses and organizations.
