Helping our community, help itself.
ServErie restores communities by connecting people in need to resources.
The ServErie School Initiative is a four-year long initiative where we partner with Erie’s Public Schools offer our volunteer force, skilled labor, Tool Bank and focus our efforts to renovate the school of greatest need.
Volunteers come with a variety of skills. Some have skills to landscape, pour concrete, lead a group or work with wood – others have big hearts and are willing participate wherever possible. The School Initiative provides an opportunity all shapes and sizes that fit the skill level of the volunteer.
There is cleaning, painting, leading, organizing, construction, managing tools, managing food, administration, registration, and more!
What does a School Initiative look like?
Everyone wants to have a chance to make a difference in their community, the problem is most people do not have any idea where to start.
July 25 – July 27
Two shifts will be available:
8am -12pm & 1pm – 5pm
Though we love to have young volunteers serving with us at our projects, our School Initiative requires our volunteers to be at least 14 years old.
There will be no child care for this event.
