February 11-17, 2026
Join us for ServErie in partnership with Hamot Health Foundation!
ServErie is just around the corner, and we’re so excited for this incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact in our Erie community. This time, we are partnering with the Hamot Health Foundation to serve a local homeless shelter during the evenings of February 11–16.
Let’s come together as the hands and feet of Jesus, serving, loving, and blessing those around us with the gifts God has placed in each of us. Whether you are able to serve one evening or join us all week, we would love for you to be a part of it. If you want to get involved, sign up today and help us bring hope and care to our neighbors in need.
What To Expect
After signing up for your ServErie Saturday shift on Volunteer Matters, you’ll want to arrive at the launch location about 20 minutes early to check in at the registration table and grab a ServErie T-shirt if you need one. Light refreshments will also be provided to help fuel you for your shift. At our launch site, we’ll have a quick kickoff gathering, update you with any last-minute information, and then disperse as teams to the site location that you registered for. Busses will be provided, so you won’t have to worry about navigating to your location or finding parking.
Additional tips:
Make sure to plan ahead and dress for the weather and what site location you’ll be serving at. Typically, you’ll want to dress comfortably and wear clothes and closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or damaging. If your site location is painting, the older your clothes, the better! We want to be safe always, but clothes and shoes can still be damaged or painted on.
